Robert Rybski<\/h2>\t\t\t\t

PhD LL.M. \nPrincipal Investigator<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Dr. Robert Rybski holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, where he also serves as Director of the "Sustainable Finance \u2013 Postgraduate Studies in Law and Finance" program and Supervisor of the Environmental Protection Law Student Research Association. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2018, devoted to nuclear energy in Germany at the intersection of German constitutional law, energy law, and environmental protection. He is a graduate of law at the University of Warsaw, an LL.M. at Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin, the Sustainable Finance Executive Programme at the University of Oxford, and the International School in Nuclear Law at the University of Montpellier. Dr. Rybski teaches sustainable finance, constitutional law, and new technologies. With a background in civil society, he has worked at the Office of the Polish Ombudsman for Citizens\u2019 Rights, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights, ClientEarth Poland Foundation, and Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. For 9 years he served as an Expert in the Infrastructure and Exchange Trading Department of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), where he also served as Poland\u2019s National Delegated Expert in the EU\u2019s Commodity Derivatives Task Force (CDTF) under the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), as well as in International Organization of Securities Commissions' 7th Committee on Derivatives.<\/p>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Konrad Rydel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t

PhD<\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Dr Konrad Rydel holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. He graduated with a law degree and a degree in Modern Greek Philology. In April 2024, he received his PhD in Law with distinction (summa cum laude). His dissertation focused on Greek constitutionalism and the role of the Supreme Special Court of Greece. In 2025, he received the prestigious Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship and, since September, has been a visiting scholar at the University of Zurich in the Department of Law and Finance, Faculty of Law, where he is preparing a project on the institutional changes that may occur in democratic states if digital currencies are introduced. Co-investigator in the research project 'International Sanctions Evasion through Central Bank Digital Currencies' (2023\/51\/D\/HS5\/02449) funded by the Polish National Science Centre. Winner of the 1st prize for the scientific text 'Does the introduction of CBDC require an amendment to the Constitution?' in the competition for university graduates with a master's degree for the best text in the field of central banking, implemented as part of the economic education program of the National Bank of Poland. His research interests include the impact of digital currencies on the legal situation of an individual and Greek constitutionalism.<\/p>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t

Pawe\u0142 Maranowski<\/h2>\t\t\t\t

\nDr Pawe\u0142 Maranowski is a sociologist, lecturer at Civitas University, Chief Expert for Research and Analysis at the Educational Research Institute \u2013 National Research Institute, and a member of the national team conducting the PISA 2025 study in Poland. From 2019 to 2025, he served as Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at Collegium Civitas. \nSince 2025, he has been affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, where, as a research methodology expert, he has been a member of research teams carrying out the following projects:\n\nInternational Sanctions Evasion through Central Bank Digital Currencies \n\nCombatting Financial Exclusion of the Elderly in the Digital Age \u2013 A Regulatory Roadmap \n\nHis academic interests focus on political sociology, sociology of law, political psychology, and especially social research methodology, survey research, and both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. \nSelected publications: \n\u2013 Elita s\u0105downictwa w III RP na pocz\u0105tku procesu przemiany i destabilizacji (2022) \n\u2013 Polaryzacja \u015bwiatopogl\u0105dowa spo\u0142ecze\u0144stwa polskiego a klasy i warstwy spo\u0142eczne (with A. He is preparing a doctoral dissertation entitled \u201cConstitutional Protection of Privacy in the Digital Era.\u201d Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
